I'd argue he's better than Jay Bruce, but they are similar players. Gattis has been better over the last two years and is projected to be better next year, while also having the better career wRC+.

Guys, there's a very good chance Ortiz is going to be traded this weekend or possibly even today. I'm looking for one prospect who is in the Top 40-60 range, or two prospects in the 60-100 range.

Calhoun>>Gattis>Bruce for me probably. Bruce is more likely to stay in the OF though, but that's probably mitigated by the fact that Gattis could feasibly get c eligibility.

Pretty good buy for you. Glasnow for two excellent years from Ortiz + a 40-60 prospect.
