SS is a minefield. Even Tulo is a worrisome asset in some ways.

There used to be a lot of talent at SS. Back in 2007/2008, guys like Tulo, Han-Ram, Rollins, Reyes, Hardy, Peralta and even Yunel were at the top of their game offensively. Even vets like Jeter, Guillen and Young were still valuable assets in fantasy.

Refsnyder is easily a top 100 prospect. If he was white, he would probably draw Dustin Pedoria comps all day

He's pretty handsome too.

The model likes moves and doesn't like posts. You outperform it by a fairly typical 56 wins (average distance is 41). Spanky is the one way at the left and Boxy is at the bottom (under-performed by 130).

Got it. I misunderstood what I was looking at. I thought we were measuring wins versus wins+posts. Thanks.

Sammy needs to cut two prospects asap... If he doesn't in the next couple of days then I'm just cutting Boyd and Imhof for him.

I am looking for a middle infielder...... ALL PROSPECTS are available depending on quality of player get a hold of me.....

Hey man...FYI.

If Profar misses another full year with shoulder issues, is he a keep or a cut for 2016?

It's hilarious how fast prospects can go from untouchable cornerstone building blocks to complete fantasy busts. I still remember the days when Brandon Wood was viewed as a power hitting franchise SS. He was routinely ranked ahead of Tulo and Hanley.

I feel bad for him, thats gotta suck!

It definitely sucks for him, but he's still only 21 (22 soon). There's still plenty of time if he can get that shoulder healthy.

I wouldn't say plenty of time after being out near two full seasons, that shoulder's a mess. He probably has one more shot.

Only real difference though is that Brandon Wood did not have injury issues..... He had sucking issues. Profar really had no chance to prove what he could do before these injuries started finding him.

Two players have gone down for the season and pitchers and catchers haven't even reported. Baseball is crazy.

North's trading block made me laugh

On the block: Prospects

Looking to acquire: Better prospects

That's why he's the champ

I talked with a BBDL'er recently about weighting years in dynasty. He thought something like 60-25-15 (current year, the next year and in the future). I argued that 95-5 is more realistic. If they aren't going to help you this year...they probably should be a trade chip. If you have no chance this year, they still should be a trade chip. If they aren't going to reach the majors and be a fantasy starter in 2 years they shouldn't even count as a member of your team. Most people that play dynasty do it because they love prospects, and there is something about prospect lovers that also love trades. So who knows what your team will look like in 2 years anyway. I know that I break these rules all the time myself, but if someone wanted advice on how to win in dynasty it's probably keep trading for current assets. Luckily for all of you most of us just want to love our players rather than win.

Further to my point. ESPN Top 25 fantasy prospects from 2013 still in the top 25: 10, and only 3 out of the top 100

Number of 2013 prospects in the top 100 2015 rankings: Rendon (BA #30, Now #21), Marte (actually un-ranked in 2013 #38 now), Springer (BA #37, #45 now), Hamilton (#20 BA, #60 now), Yelich BA #16, #77 now, Gerrit Cole BA#7, #78 now.

There are as many dead prospects from the top 10 of the 2013 list as there are current top 100 players (mind you Jose Fernandez is not listed in the 2015 top 100 because of his injury).
