I missed getting Nootbar into my starting lineup by a couple of minutes when I saw Aristides Aquino benched. That's now 3 HR's and 4 RBI's missed with him and Drury benched.

 

Urena did a solid for a spot start - 5.2 IP, 2 ER and 6 K's. Will take that.

 

My starters over the weekend need to pitch well to put some pressure on the ERA category. Down 20K's now which I think is a uphill battle since you still have other starters as well. Still going to come down to the bats IMO.

I closed the gap on K's but you have the advantage (+6) still the final day. Wins, ERA and OBP are in play but if you get a solid start from Scherzer like you said, it's likely enough. Wish Bautista didn't implode last night for 4ER in 1.1 innings, ugh that hurt.

 

As for offensive categories, looks like you pulled ahead for good in RBI (+7) and Runs (+11).

Had to callup Vinnie Pasquantino last night and start him at 1B with Freeman out again. Reached the weekly max for transactions. Wong out of the lineup today, and Fraley already benched today because Ashby is pitching for the Brewers, so likely will have an empty spot in the lineup but oh well. Yeah need a big day offensively and RBI could be within reach even if I tie the category.

The entire playoffs was a month-long gauntlet. Two ties and a very close 8-5 win. Happy it’s finally over.

League renewal will likely open in a couple days. That's what I remember.

We should have a board playoff league, unlimited transactions, multiple people can own the same player. Let people have some fun picking the exact players they think will perform best.
