That makes it kind of hard to invest heavily

To FTD

Charlie Morton

To L54

Yordan Alvarez

Like this for FTD

Just wanting to clarify that Alvarez isn't too heavy of an investment. I thought it was a fair trade, and he was the best prospect I could've acquired.

Didn't realize Yordan Alvarez was as good as what he's been. His name reminds me too much of Pedro Alvarez

He always looked way too athletic to be a 1B. Looks like the Astros are trying him out at LF. What's his current injury though?

Hit on his hand by a pitch, isn’t supposed to be serious

Best offer for Yadier Alvarez is a MiLB 3rd. If anyone wants to give me a 2019 MiLB 2nd, he's yours.

Is Felix Hernandez the worst starting pitcher in baseball?

Homer or Giolito if you want qualified dudes.

Hat tips to Tillman, Tomlin, Marty Perez, Fulmer, and BRYAN mitchell. Not sure if any of them are even starting games now though.

Felix was one of my favourite pitchers back in the day. Sad to see him fade away this badly and he's still quite young, only 31-32, but he's been pretty bad for the last 2-3 years.

So I've continued to have terrible issues with the site loading slow as hell. It never lags on my phone however and just discovered you can switch to the 'mobile version' on your desktop. Worked like a charm, no more lag.

Its a bit annoying, but not anywhere near as annoying as taking 30 seconds to load every page.

Yeah but none of those are really locked into a rotation spot like Felix. There's no end in sight to his awfulness.

Wow, the draft is almost here.

We will begin the draft this year officially on Saturday June 9th. Clocks will begin running at 9 am.

The cutdown deadline will be the day before, June 8, at midnight.

People can start making and recording picks as soon as the real life draft is over if they want.

Please post your cutdowns somewhere public (message board or Yahoo thread). That way someone can notice and process them.

You have to cut down to 12 picks+prospects at the deadline. If you don't, any surplus draft picks will disappear. Extra picks don't stick around after the cutdown to give you a chance to trade them.

12 hour windows with no timeouts overnight, as per usual. If you miss a window entirely, future windows are halved (down to 3 hours).

Please email the guy after you.

You can trade MiLB assets during the draft, as usual, but the trades have to be even on both sides in terms of # of minor league assets (unless one of the owners has less than 12 minor league assets for some reason.) Trading while you are on the clock is illegal unless it occurs at the very beginning of your clock (first 15 minutes or whatever). If a trade is not balanced someone is allowed to dissolve a remaining draft pick to facilitate it, but you CANNOT drop a prospect during the draft. Not fair to do that!

Check the rules if you are unsure about anything.

Players that have to be promoted (might not be inclusive):

Ian Happ

Jake Faria (likely)

Faria is out for the next two months or so with a high-grade oblique strain, so he probably doesn't bust through that mandatory promotion threshold.
