I'll be looking to trade Jake Lamb, Robby Cano, Andrew Miller, Craig Kimbrel, and Felix Hernandez this off-season. Hit me up if you wanna start a dialogue early; I'm not against agreeing to a trade now and completing it when the playoffs end.

 

If a deal like this was to be agreed upon would it get announced now, and just processed after the playoffs? Or wait until the end of our playoffs to be both announced and processed? Not sure on league rules/process for this

Since the owner in the first is currently in a playoff position, the deal can only be made official once said playoffs are over, so we've decided to include a clause in case of career-ending injury/suspension/death to either of the players involved.

I keep a pretty detailed spreadsheet for every league, and rosterbate multiple times daily. I've been using my team in this league as an aid a lot lately.

I feel we should still wait until after the playoffs to move players for all teams, including non-playoffs teams. This means P2F would have to drop 2 guys he might want to trade in the offseason. It also means you've cleared 2 spots on your active roster that you could pick up a couple interesting players.

I disagree. Non-playoff teams aren't locked during the playoffs, they are free to add and drop free agents like anyone else.

I'm rostering like 6 guys I plan on dropping to free agency before the end of the year so my column in the spreadsheet has less trash. If you can find something keeper worthy on the waiver wire on September 6th, you deserve the asset.
