f***in' Tatito at #15 on Law's list. What a f***ing steal that draft pick was, you were all sleeping at the wheel! You're welcome P2F.

Anyone posted the list yet?

Kopech or Honeywell?

For me, Honeywell. A case could pretty easily be made for either. Kopech might have a higher ceiling, but seems way riskier.

Law has Kopech 7th!

Anyway, just interesting because I offered GP that trade last night and he politely declined

To NJH: Johnny Cueto

To P2F: Tommy Pham, Seth Romero, 2nd Rd MiLB

Confirmed!

I like the Samardzija return a lot more than the Cueto return.

Was probably an overpay. No one is dealing starting though. And I couldn't let all the other playoff teams upgrade without doing something myself.

What you don't realize is that he can now name his team Pham Jam, which is a significant upgrade on Game of Throws

Naming your team after Pham would be super awkward the next time the Cards shuttle him to AAA. Great job turning some boob you grabbed off waivers into a borderline ace, though.

That's what I do--I shuffle boobs. Since 1990.

Cueto's fancy stats and nerdy indicators are not very good. I think he has probably declined a bit.

Man, I did not think that contract would end up being anywhere near this bad.

But it happened to the Red Sox, so lol

JP Crawford is on a bit of a power binge since coming back from injury. 273/378/584 with 5 homers and a 163 wRC+ over 90 PA.

I wonder if gets himself to a 100-110 wRC+ for the year and pops 12-15 homers, if that brings back some prospect shine. That's really not bad for 22 at AAA. Of course, he has to stay reasonably hot for that to happen.

I kinda hate them both tbh, but I didn't get involved in time to beat it.

Did P2F post that they were available? I had been waiting for him to announce that they were on the block because I was interested in both.

I didn't publicly announce it, but I had behind the scenes interest in both guys.

I like the returns that I got, if anyone cares.

Yeah. I almost never ask for players out of the blue.

I feel like my perceived interest in a player is always bigger if I ask out of the blue, and it shifts leverage. I'm not sure I've ever made a deal for someone I asked about unsolicited, so I stopped doing it.
