funny that they are said to have interest in Daniel Murphy, but don't seem to want to give a chance to Right Handed Asian Daniel Murphy from 6 years ago. Just play Ref in an occasional 2B, some LF, and a little DH. Get him 300 or so PA's.

Neil Walker is a great fit. Getting pricey for the Pirates. 1/$10M for a slightly above average player is already pushing it for them, and to extend him they'd probably have to make him their most expensive player which is just crazy.

They can't seem to get passed his real value though. It's been rumoured that Baltimore offered Gausmann and the Pirates asked for them to keep adding. Get past where he grew up and make a move that helps your team.

He reminds me of Sanchez. Huge fastball, and minor league results that suggest he's tough to square up despite K-rates that don't jump out at you and some apparent issues with control. The Sox seem to think he has a chance to stick as a starter.

Trumbo, Jerko, and Gattis could all hit 20-30 HR with OBPs comfortably below .300

OBP isn't everything, you can lack in one category if you excel in others. Besides, he'll probably not start two Trumbos all year, just ride the hot one and bench the one in a rut.

My offense was never going to be great at OBP, but Gattis replacing Jaso or Mahtook should make me a bit better overall. Really hoping my flawed offense can finish close to the middle of the pack and let me compete for a playoff spot.
