baseballsss Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 f*** how do you stay log into the site its really starting to get annoying. I couldn't find anything in settings.
admin Site Manager Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Agreed, set up a paypal and I bet a few people will throw you some bones to help with site costs. Fine for now. I can't justify spending $85 for that feature no matter how much was donated, not worth it imo. f*** how do you stay log into the site its really starting to get annoying. I couldn't find anything in settings. There's a box beside where you login that says "remember me" or "keep me logged in", check it off.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 I agree, I think you should setup a paypal.
baseballsss Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 mobile version doesn't have the view unread link on it?
wilko Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Is there a way to embed twitter posts? I know some forums you can use [tweet][/tweet] to post single posts from twitter. Or use a button in the advanced reply.
admin Site Manager Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 To use this, you put the ID in the tweet tags like you had. The ID is the number at the end of the url https://twitter.com/RaysJoeMaddon/status/331970928055570432 Doesn't seem to work too great though at times.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 is there a way we can setup our account so we get notifications ONLY from people who respond directly to one of out posts. I dont need 1 every time someone posts in the thread, but it would be very useful for following conversation to get them for direct replies.

Yeah, I've been playing with the notifications and can't seem to get that.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Yeah, I've been playing with the notifications and can't seem to get that. Bro: 2. Some people wanted notification of replies directly to them. If you go to "Settings" up top, then "General Settings" You will now see "Quote Notification:" And you can turn it on so when someone quotes you, you'll get a private message or email.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 9, 2013 Author Posted May 9, 2013 from my profile I get an error message when I click who thanked me. I like to know who's giving me a tug.

wilko Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 I don't seem to be getting email notifications after turning this on: Some people wanted notification of replies directly to them. Maybe no one is quoting you!
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 I don't know what level of control you have with the forum software, but is it possible for you to add a class to the thank-you posts that would let us eliminate them if we wish? For example, if you added a class to go along with postbitlegacy and postbitim () that identified it as a thank-you post, then I could use Stylish to eliminate the extra clutter. (If you know of another way to do it without removing the functionality please let me know. Maybe there's a way with Stylish to parse it from the id?)
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Okay, I think I figured it out. If you're using Stylish, add the following (same way as we did to eliminate posts of ignored users): li[id*=post_thanks_box] {display:none !important;} This will eliminate the extra thank-you posts.

Your IL fix didn't work, by the way.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Your IL fix didn't work, by the way. Are you using firefox or chrome, and which version?
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Are you using firefox or chrome, and which version? Chrome, latest version. Did everything you said multiple times, didn't work.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Chrome, latest version. Did everything you said multiple times, didn't work. Tried it again on Chrome, and it's working perfectly for me. Here's a screenshot of the settings:

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Only thing I can think of is to try taking the "http://" out of the "url on the domain" section. That's the only difference I can see, the rest looks good (assuming the rest of that domain is typed in right).
