This is the sixth time it's happened in the NHL playoffs.

 

Don't know about the other major sports though. Don't know if they can't, or just won't hand it out to a player on a losing team.

Loved Berezin when I was a kid. I remember Berezin was one of the fastest players on the ice. His skill and speed were just top notch. Fun player to watch and cheer for! RIP

I'm fine with the players but ya, that term is pretty bad. I guess that's a problem for years from today though. Not breaking up the core is pretty bad too. It's been reported/speculated by the Score that Mitch wouldn't waive. No idea if there's truth to it, but regardless, there shouldn't be much appetite for running it back...yet here we are apparently.

 

Hopefully, a stronger defensive core will make a difference and Woll can stay healthy and become what we all hope he can be. That might make enough of a difference to start winning some of those 2-1 games. Too much "if" and "hope" though for my liking. We'll see what happens. Still plenty of off-season left for more tinkering.
