The Panarin play was even more dangerous than the punches to the back of Buchnevich’s head. If he didn’t twist his body he could have easily landed on his head with no helmet.

 

Yes, this is what did it for me. Like WTF??? Goof! 5,000 dollar fine is egregious, a Canadian minimum wage employee would have to pay a 17 dollar fine, to put it in perspective.

Dude, it was all bad... he could've broke Panarin's neck. Guy's a great player, but a bully POS. Too bad, really.

To be fair, the punch looked like it hit his shoulder. Still, punching when someone is down regardless of where it connects is a no no.

Kind of feel bad for Mike Smith, but I love the Peg taking these first 2 games.

 

Also, the Blues had little chance to pull off an upset, but missing those players on Covid sure doesn't help, especially Perron on the PP, he's deadly.

Didn't see the Oilers getting swept.

 

They just aren't good beyond their two big guns. Goaltending and D never seem much better than mediocre. Nuge as your third best forward just doesn't cut it, he should be 5th or 6th at best on a contender.

Yup agreed, I have a bet of 200 that the Leafs go further, but didn't see a sweep coming, also Mike Smith was excellent that series, save for game 3. Helleybuck is the only player on the Jets that worry me as a Leaf fan, well, that's if Toronto get through which I believe they will, f*** the Habs.

The Leafs should get by Winnipeg without much issue. It's pretty much a free pass to the semis for them this year.

The Leafs are such a chumpy team. Takes a 7th game to try to dispose of probably the worst team in the playoffs.

Leafs got game 7, nerds. Shouldn't have taken this long but...

 

I will wait until Game 7 is complete. I've been a fan for far too long to have any sort of confidence in them.
