RobinThicc Verified Member Posted April 12, 2021 Posted April 12, 2021 Is Mantha better than Vrana? Depends on who you ask. I know Red wing fans had problems with Mantha because of his inconsistent effort.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2021 Posted April 12, 2021 Is Mantha better than Vrana? I sure don't think he's much better than giving up those picks, lol.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2021 Posted April 12, 2021 Awful start... GO LEAFS GO!!! 7 in a Row!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2021 Posted April 12, 2021 (edited) Habs dry f***ed the Leafs that period, pick it up Buds. Auston f***ing Matthews! Edited April 13, 2021 by Spanky99
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 Leafs terrible tonight. Well deserved loss.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 Failed Golden opportunity on the PP in the first created what happened next. Until they get out of their own heads they won't win. Campbell is human again. No one is going to save them right now

BTS Community Moderator Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Is Andersen going to be ready for the playoffs? Because the Campbell/Rittich tandem is looking pretty f***ing shaky.

He's back on the ice, I really hope he's ready. Leafs continue to outplay their opponent to get bagged by s*** goaltending. I'm hoping Jack gets back on a roll. f***!

He's shown the ability to be very, very good for long stretches in the past.
RobinThicc Verified Member Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Hyman and Bogosian to LTIR, Andersen activated soon? They need someone to step up.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 HellyB scares me, as a Leaf fan.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 I know this is practice, but Caufield's hands are a treat factory.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 (edited) This Rangers vs. the NHL saga is getting interesting. The team was just fined 250K for "demeaning" comments toward George Parros. I mean, come on - Tom Wilson is a pile of s*** and was only fined $5,000 for his actions. The play: The comments: "The New York Rangers are extremely disappointed that Capitals forward Tom Wilson was not suspended for his horrifying act of violence last night at Madison Square Garden. Wilson is a repeat offender with a long history of these type of acts and we find it shocking that the NHL and their Department of Player Safety failed to take the appropriate action and suspend him indefinitely. Wilson's dangerous and reckless actions caused an injury to Artemi Panarin that will prevent him from playing again this season. We view this as a dereliction of duty by NHL Head of Player Safety, George Parros, and believe he is unfit to continue in his current role." The ensuing game: The fine: Edited May 6, 2021 by P2F
BTS Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 George Parros f***ing sucks at his job.
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 We are like ten years into the era of policing head checks and they still let guys like Tom Wilson bash multiple players' heads off the ice without significant penalty?
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 We are like ten years into the era of policing head checks and they still let guys like Tom Wilson bash multiple players' heads off the ice without significant penalty? He hits a guy in the back of the head while the guy is laying face down on the ice. He's a repeat offender. They need to start handing out full year bans in situations like this. Pretty sure some of things Wilson pulls are even illegal in the UFC.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 We are like ten years into the era of policing head checks and they still let guys like Tom Wilson bash multiple players' heads off the ice without significant penalty? They have never reached anything remotely close to consistency when it comes to discipline. As a Ducks fan it still burns me to think of Cogliano's iron man streak being ended by a suspension. Somehow the same panel determined that a suspension was necessary to deter Cogliano from reckless behavior, despite 830 consecutive games of hard nosed yet gentlemanly play spanning his whole career, yet this recidivist ape Wilson gets a small fine for multiple attempts to bash an opponents face into the ice after the whistle.
BTS Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 The Panarin play was even more dangerous than the punches to the back of Buchnevich’s head. If he didn’t twist his body he could have easily landed on his head with no helmet.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 The play was reckless and dangerous, and it's all the more baffling that Wilson, a repeat offender, got a mere slap on the wrist when he targeted two of the three best players (Zibanejad) on the Rangers. Panarin is one of the best players on the planet and it looks as though Buchnevich has finally broken through to become the star player he was pegged to be. There's no place in today's game for this type of buffoonery and no player should have to worry about a Tom Wilson trying his best to injure them, but the league needs to protect its most talented players at the very least. f*** Wilson, Parros, and the NHL.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 And now Buchnevich has been suspended for an incident in last night's game.

Yes, that whole thing was a debauchery, most NHL critics and Desk Analysts were shocked. He should've at least been suspended the rest of this season including the playoffs, imo. ETA: Even goons didn't like it, they're all like you know who's on the ice, let it go. The big dude that made the AS game, Colton Orr, Rob Ray... they all said they'd punch him out on the ice, but he'd turtle like he always does, lol.
