I wouldn't go near the top 5...

 

Gretzky, Howe, Orr, Lemieux and Richard are a pretty tough level to crack.

 

Then... like Beliveau, Messier, Yzerman, Crosby, Bossy, Lidstrom, Bourque, Roy, Brodeur, Lafleur...Harvey even....

 

I could hear some arguments to slot him in there somewhere depending on how people value goalies and Dmen over dominant goal scorers

So, as if their terrible season and the whole Melnyk debacle wasn't enough, the Ottawa Senators are currently faced with the following issues:

 

- Erik Karlsson needs to be traded or re-signed early in the offseason

- They look like a terrible team next year and don't even have their 2019 1st

- Their director of player development is being charged with sexually harassing a 19-year old guy.

- Mike Hoffman's girlfriend has been harassing Erik Karlsson's wife on social media since the Karlssons' baby died
