Big question looming now is what happens to Matthews. Does he sign an extension with a new GM here or does he want to test free agency? Have to trade him by July 1st.

 

There's an AGM within the Org that's likely to be hired according to Friedman, he was Dubas # crunch wizard on the cap issues, etc... plus that wouldn't matter as AM34 said he wants to stay a Leaf.

Nope he's going to be traded to the Rangers for package centered around Trouba, Lafrenière, and Kakko.

Though I have Carolina and Vegas in a parlay to win their series ugh haha.

Too bad the Leafs don't have that kind of guy. I thought Marner could have been that guy.

Flames had him, but thanks to Sutter they couldn't keep him. Too bad he kept running great players out of town with his ******** 1940's coaching style. Hell, Tkachuk is the exact kind of player Sutter should love.

Marner doesn't have Tkachuk's inner demon fire, but he probably has far more skill. Lets also remember that guys like Tkachuck thrive in the playoffs since the refs put away the whistle unless you actually decapitate someone, and even then they only call it if the bleeding head bounces off the ice and affects the play.

Interesting - I don't follow hockey enough to know if this is a good thing or not.

 

He made some ballsy moves that didn't quite pan out but some blame Suter for that. If he's the next GM I think he will shake up the team a bit.

Unless he's already been neutered and the reports are accurate that Shanny already told the 4 that they'd be back next season.

Boston Pizza doesn't even know what it is. Is it a pizza place? Sports bar? Family restaurant? Italian restaurant?

I agree with this. It's very low on my list of chain restaurants to eat at.

Plus their prices are insane now. It's all just frozen pre-packaged s***.

I agree with this. It's very low on my list of chain restaurants to eat at.

 

I'm shocked they're still around.

 

For chain restaurants, Joey's and Earl's are the best for drinks and small bites IMO. Haven't been to Cactus Club in a while, but they're more upper scale but pretty decent.

 

If you want a nice meal, the Keg is still very solid.

A Big Mac combo used to be like $6.99 about 10 years ago. Now any combo at McDonalds is over $10.
