Wow, that's very reasonable.

Here in Toronto, you have to take out a line of credit in order to afford Playoff tickets.

Man, didn't think the Oilers would go down in 6.

Can't play 5-on-5.

Have no reliable goaltending

Not really a surprise.

Oilers and the Leafs are similar. Similar issues. Oilers are like a more extreme version though.

There was a vote yesterday for a new arena for Arizona. They had 3 proposals, all three were voted down.

NHL will be meeting with Arizona soon to discuss next steps.

It's pretty clear Arizona doesn't want an NHL franchise. Bettman not accepting this is frustrating. Admit you made a mistake and move on.

They should bring an NHL team back to Quebec City or maybe Halifax.

The GTA could also support another hockey team as well like around Hamilton or Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge area, though doubt MLSE would want that. Also, a lot of teams too close to each other - TOR, BUF, DET, OTT and MTL.

In the US, maybe Salt Lake City or Milwaukee could be options.

There's no corporate money in Halifax. That's not even a discussion worth having.

Quebec? Maybe, but they already failed there once...and it is a small market that is further down the pecking order...more cities out there with a lot more corporate money. Unfortunately they're all in the US but this is what the owners and Bettman want. And what they want, they get.

Apparently they are building an NHL size stadium in an Atlanta suburb. Surely the league wouldn't be dumb enough to try that market for a third time, right?

Yeah that's true, both Halifax and Quebec would be way down on the list. Thought Quebec because they did bring the Jets back to Winnipeg and they've been a success. I think Quebec could work again since it does bring in a lot of tourism and has grown since the 1990s.

I really think another team in the GTA would work. Heck even in Mississauga. MLSE and the NHL won't allow it though.

I was surprised at Winnipeg getting a team back. Helps when the richest man in the country owns the franchise.

Would be so stupid. I don't think another team in the southern US would work. They're lucky Carolina and Florida have been successful on the ice or otherwise they wouldn't be getting anyone at the games. Arizona is already a failure.

Salt Lake City, Milwaukee, maybe Baltimore.

No goal, man.

Double OT... :)

Triple OT... Gassed!

Quadruple OT... Now I'm tired. :(

I just cracked open another beer mate. Bring it on!

I need Vegas and Florida final for an alright score in the brackets. Perfect West and a mess in the East (which no one having Florida helped)

Welcome to Ottawa, Kyle

Nah, in his presser the other day he spoke about the job putting stress on his family, he said he'd stay in for the Leafs only. Maybe down the road, sure.

Big question looming now is what happens to Matthews. Does he sign an extension with a new GM here or does he want to test free agency? Have to trade him by July 1st.
