Ristolainen always has had intriguing physical attributes and can produce points but I believe his analytics have hovered between bad and horrendous, albeit on a mostly horrible team where he's been utilized far over his head.

 

I don't understand the fit either, you would think they would target a steadying presence to go along with Ellis, Provorov and Sanheim.

He makes more money on his patreon. Almost 7k a month and rising... not even knowing whatever his main job is. probably not getting that with an NHL team. Why would he give that up to work for a s***** wage with a team? All he basically has to do right now is update the players cards once every few months (it's not even his data) and make bare cash.

Vancouver is a dumpster fire defensively too though. And OEL is way past his prime. I wouldn't bet on a late career resurgence.
