TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Anyone else suddenly feel like some waffles? Blue?
Pinkfloid Verified Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 that waffles gif literally made me lol. Good note on which to head to bed.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 LOL, I wasn't watching the game, but I checked in a couple times. Figured this one was in the bag and when I checked back in they were heading to OT. That's just silly.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 All this talk about players' heart in hockey....is this s*** even real?
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 All this talk about players' heart in hockey....is this s*** even real? My facebook feed is filled with women complaining how little heart the leafs showed and that they didnt care
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Guys, this is why Gibbers is right. You should never get emotionally attached to any sports team, because things like this happen all the time. Its good to just be a sports fan in general. That's the best part of being a die hard fan of a team though, It's good for your soul to invest in something you can't control.

GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2013 Author Posted May 17, 2013 And then there's this: http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/grange-on-nonis-phaneuf-not-untouchable/
mitchf Verified Member Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 And then there's this: http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/grange-on-nonis-phaneuf-not-untouchable/ Well at least they should come to the realization that Phaneuf isn't a minute eater that gets 40% zone starts. He should be on the second pairing/first PP unit and be largely focused on getting the puck in the net. There's a reason why some players get sheltered minutes.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 DENVER — Hall of Fame goalie Patrick Roy is reportedly on the verge of being the next head coach of the Colorado Avalanche. Interesting..
mitchf Verified Member Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 What a stubborn coach Roy is going to be. However he'll bring energy to a dying fan base.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 f***ing idiot Leaf fans thinking Carlyle is some kind of great coach. They are acting like he is the reason they made the playoffs and what not. They keep bringing up the improvement on the PK, but it was Scott Gordon who ran that penalty kill. If anything, Scott Gordon deserves praise.

Laika Community Moderator Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Did anyone see this happen to Krejci's leg? How is this not at least an MCL sprain? http://i.imgur.com/39A9ndi.jpg

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 New York Rangers @NYRangers 6m BREAKING NEWS: The #NYR have relieved John Tortorella of his coaching duties...details to follow
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Torts fired...I'm guessing Lindy Ruff to the Rangers
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Hawks just got robbed of a potential game winning goal. Looked to me like Saad was just getting thrown into bench, ref comes in without even watching the play and calls for off setting penalties.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Torts fired...I'm guessing Lindy Ruff to the Rangers They're showing some great post game interview Tortorella footage on Sportsnet Curious what the final straw was on the firing?
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Chicago got absolutely f***ed. If Detroit wins this game, it will be one of the worst outcomes of s***** officiating that I've ever seen.
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Curious what the final straw was on the firing? Probably just the team that looked like absolute horseshit all year, in conjunction with the endless media distractions.
Dude Verified Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 100 shots toward the Bruins net, almost 54 shots on goal.....1 goal Bruins Win 2-1 in double OT.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Author Posted June 6, 2013 That Brooks Orpik backcheck... lol. I realize he was tired though.
