Hi all, longtime fan here. This message board is clearly superior, hope it can withstand the attack of the trolls! I am not a stats guy, just a longtime fan who is tired of suffering and would like to see another World Series before I die. Will post sporadically, very busy.

When Hurl and I initially discussed the idea, I was worried about putting the time and money in, and people would be on the fence about the idea, or atleast slowly go back to the old forum.

I'm confident it isn't the case now, and I'm glad we made the decision to go forward.

There was a little cost involved, as well as monthly, but it's not a big deal if people continue to use the forum.

Is there a way to remove viewing images for those that read at work and such.

 

Not sure if you got an answer for this as yet. At the very top if the page click on "Settings", then on the left hand pane click on "General settings", then scroll down to "Thread Display Options", then remove what you do not want from displayed under "Visible Post Elements".

Just a suggestion, but maybe think about moving the chatbox to the bottom of the forum? I think it might be more optimal to have the forum links show up near the top, but that's just my opinion.

 

Not sure if this is any better - On the extreme right of the "Chat" box there is an arrow-head. Click on it to collapse the box.

I took a quick look and didn't see it, but is there a way to automatically 'view first unread' when you click a thread instead of entering on page 1?

 

It's the blue button right next to the thread name. Very handy.
