    Am I missing something? Springer is definitely their most potent bat this year. Vlad may be the most valuable player overall, but with the seasons Springer and Kirky are having, the gap between those guys is small.

    Bo is at 20th percentile sprint speed this year. It's a wild speed decline from his first couple years in the majors.

    Bo at least contributing at the plate. That is the 44th double for Bo this year, he's just a double machine. Single season record for the Jays is Delgado with 57.

    Let's not forget Fisher has had a stellar split vs LHB this year: OPS .509 in 63 PA. (27Ks in 63PA!!) I'm really hoping he comes back in fine form this series. We need it.

    Varsho has equaled his HR total from last year in 194 PA vs 531 PA last year. 18 HRs in 194 PA... holy s***. The guy's slugging % is approaching .600.

    If only the starter schedule would have aligned, we could have had Berrios vs Littell, in a historic battle of the worst starter stuff in MLB history. Missed opportunity.

    I think that's why the situation seems so incredibly dire, basically all the arms went stone cold at the same time. I think it's highly unlikely we don't see some performance reversion here in the next month. If we don't... it's going to be a tough slog, because this isn't the type of team to be slugging their way to victories.

    A few months back, we got about 100 different versions of "This team is mediocre, not even a .500 team and won't even sniff the playoffs. Tear it all down." Calm down you're overreacting they said.
