    Yeah even as someone who wanted Kirk as the C moved out last offseason, he should be the least hated fatty out of the 3 fatties by far. At least he's still putting up solid value at the C position (for now). One of the other fatties is a f***ing replacement level DH (this is Kirk's imminent future, not present), and the other one is just straight up a lazy piece of garbage minor league pitcher.

    I ain't a fan of either Atkins or Schneider and wanted both gone. Before the unfortunate Shapiro presser which confirmed that this organization values people who throw the people they work with under the bus, I had said IMO Shapiro should fire both Atkins and Schneider (who proved himself to be a beta that is okay with getting thrown under the bus), promote World Series winning GM James Click to take Atkins' place, and let Click decide who he wants his Schneider replacement to be. Unfortunate things didn't play out this way, but a silver lining is, at least Shatkins' snake-like nature produced a public calling out of the replacement level DH Vlad Jr. I also straight up loved how they played hardball with Manoah's whining (Atkins basically said f*** your fake injuries fatass you don't deserve major league pay on IL).

    Fun fact, Varsho had more fWAR per PA in CF this season than KK, while also having a lower wRC+ than KK. I agree with the last part of your post though. As much as I'm a fan of Varsho, I thought Kirk basically needed to be the catcher moved instead of Moreno, because it's only a short matter of time before he too physically regresses to a full time DH (like another fatass we know on this team).

    Yeah, I'm hoping attendance is way down next year. Shatkins are banking on the casual cucks to consistently buy tickets and keep them afloat while they continue to trot out mediocrity. I wonder what the Achilles heel will be for next year's team, because if Atkins fixes the offense he will just create another major weakness like his process of fixing the defense for the 2023 team. I am a big fan of Varsho (because quality everyday CF like him do not grow on trees like some of his haters seem to believe), but when I saw him batting as high in the lineup as he was early in the season I knew something was very off.

    If there's anyone I wanted Shatkins to throw under the bus it's him. Vlad deserves tire track markings (metaphorically by throwing him under the bus) more than anyone else in the org right now. It's great that Shapiro said it.

    I'm about to give an admittedly vague answer here, but pretty much anyone who can provide at least 0.5 fWAR over a full season at 1B who makes considerably less than 20M would be more preferable than Vlad for me. List of options should be pretty long with these parameters, and yes probably includes Horwitz as one of many options.

    So Vlad is gone then in this Soler scenario? He's a full time DH moving forward (absolute turd defensively at 1B), and pretty much a replacement level one at that, who will also make 20M in arbitration lmao.
