    Varsho will no hyperbole have 0 remaining haters once he is the everyday CF going forward. Not his fault he was forced to play LF this year since Atkins signed KK. His defensive prowess is less valuable away from CF. He literally has more fWAR per PA at CF this season than KK. But don't get it twisted while the haters try to cloud your judgement. Atkins traded for an everyday CF of the future this past offseason who has another 3 years of control after this. The Varsho haters must think that KK signed a lifetime contract with us and that gold glove caliber everyday CFs grow on trees. They don't grow on trees, in fact it's closer to looking for a needle in a haystack. Shut the f*** up Varsho haters.

    IMO this has been the case since early May when he came back from that wrist issue. Hasn't been the same since returning from that, almost instantly when he returned that's when his production started plummeting.

    If the Jays end up finishing 1 game below Texas, meaning Texas has to go to the Trop and we get the Twins, many Jays fans will be celebrating Texas' sweep of us in retrospect.

    If Horwitz had PH for Espinal, Horwitz would have slotted in at LF, Whit shifts to 2B, Biggio shifts to 3B. The Horwitz for Whit PH scenario was simple because Whit was already at LF. I realize Horwitz should normally only play 1B/DH, but he has played a fair amount of LF in the minors and we're talking about a situation where a hit almost certainly would have won the game.

    I can't see any reason to have not pinch hit Horwitz for either Espinal or Whit in that situation. Also I could say you acted like I was an idiot thinking I don't know how the defensive realignments would work.

    Montoyo will always be infinitely worse, but I am really starting to hate JS.

    If Horwitz had been PH for Whit, Espinal would have remained at 3B and Horwitz would slot in at LF. Maybe this is just me but if a hit wins the game I don't give a f*** that Horwitz has never played an inning of LF in the majors. We're talking about an injured Whit who is playing through it and ice cold right now.
