    Well you'll never get a guy like Teo from free agency for 1/13 or whatever his salary projects at. Like ya, you can sign Nimmo with some of that money but you're going 5 years long and way higher AAV. Teo can give you 4 wins next year on a 1 year deal. It's very unlikely we replace that production at that term. You can easily hand out a Kikuchi contract and Swanson loses 1 tick and he's dog s***, and you just cost yourself 3-4 wins in a blink of an eye. Teo is a pretty solid bet to hit next year. His track record has been surprisingly steady.

    It's tough to count on a reliever who doesn't throw hard. The only universal axiom of pitching is throwing hard = better results.

    Logical trade but you hate to be filling out the bullpen by trading a cleanup hitter. Wish we could develop a single reliever.

    Dudes who throw 93 mph with running fastballs. Which is basically every single pitcher ever to come through the Atkins development pipeline. Even Manoah. Good thing he hides it and tunnels.

    I think we're behind the times in terms of pitching strategy, development and acquisition and I'd fire him if there was a clearly better option available. His major league transactions have been mostly good but I just f***ing hate the pitchers we come up with.
