    It doesn't factor platoon situations. Castillo has 4sm and change vs LHB and sinker slider vs RHB so he's far superior if you look at it intuitively. Guys like Hill have a huge breaking sliders but are not that special against RHB. It lacks a lot of context. Doesn't factor tunnels either or deception. I bet Aaron Sanchez had sick stuff+ in his prime with that huge curve. But it doesn't pair with a sinker that's why a smart team like the Astros tried to switch his fastball to a 4sm. But stuff+ doesn't care about that as far as I know.

    The Rays would put a bullet in Mitch White and use his body for spare parts to R&D how to create their next ace out of a middle reliever. As soon as you exhibit a dead zone fastball even one time, they just release you or send you to the gulag where a machine alters your arm angle and finger pressure for months until your fastball is outlier in some ridiculous way.

    Frasso has fastball traits that don't exist. You can't trade that for a depth pitcher. We should be able to come up with our own Mitch Whites.

    Berrios's 4S gets killed by LHB. He might as well give them the sinker again. We split that up when he got here and it's not working. Put down the bottle Pete.

    The clock is amazing. But I expect some adjustment where they lengthen it with 2 outs or in the 9th inning or something like that.

    Smart move by Rockies. As the year progresses they stop hitting because they see more and more stuff at home and it doesn't do the same on the road.

    It was actually a grace of God that we picked up Thompson. I can't even think of anyone in the minors that can even go 5 innings. Is it NRI Drew Hutchison? Hatch? The prospects coming up have like 10 innings in AA with huge walk rates. They're far away.

    There is everything wrong with having to trade a pitcher like Frasso with that much of an outlier fastball because you can't develop any 4 inning s*** bags like Mitch White. Atkins does his best at the mlb level to plug holes but those holes are created by our terrible pitching dev.
