    Our rotation has like a 20M AAV per position so of course not. We have like the most unsustainable pitching model in the league.

    I almost added Robert Stock because I saw on Twitter that he changed from 4 seam to sinker and the metrics on the pitch are great according to some nerds that are telling him what to throw in a garage somewhere. And then the Brewers signed him! But I don't want to cut this 24 year old in the complex league so I couldn't add him.

    Pitching is great but if a dude nukes a fastball 420 feet to dead center and the CF calmly runs under it and catches it with his eyes closed, that's f***ed up and no one wants to watch that.

    I feel like Story's needed TJ for 2 years now. And still Bloom signed him. Quite an interesting strategy to deal Betts and use that budget space for more, significantly worse players.

    Carlos get a grip. Thompson is a shitbag with a decent curve that he started spamming later in the year. Kikuchi can throw middle middle fastballs and get whiffs. He's the answer if we can get him to hit the plate.

    You don't trade Moreno for a platoon bat. Varsho should play everyday and learn to hit LHP.

    We never actually had leverage with our Cs because teams knew we had to sell one to win now. Our window is not big. Moreno is athletic for a C but not that athletic or explosive with the bat. I think we sold under his value but Varsho is a bit of a cheat code with everything he gives you and that's important right now.

    BAL will end up with a couple LHBs for 1b and Dh and maybe a couple RHPs.

    He came on really strong with that change up in the 2nd half. Surprised that's all he got. He's good.

    He had interesting swing data changes happening last year before he got hurt. Who knows what it's like next year. 8.5M is too much but he has upside IMO.

    Kikuchi has better stuff than Bassitt. He has games against big league offences like HOU, NYY and put up huge whiff rates. Bassitt is a guy that faces LAD and gets like 20% o swings.

    Rather Quintana if you're going for the old guy who gets weak contact. Unless you throw f***ing hard or get whiffs somehow, you're all the same to me. Balloon could pop any moment, just give me the cheapest, healthiest one.

    The only thing consistent is that the harder you throw, the more room for error you have. If you can get whiffs without that then that's like the next best thing. When you have neither, you're walking a tight rope.

    There's really nothing to like about Bassitt if you're being objective. Old, velo declining. No stuff. No track record of health. K rate dropped to just over 7 in the 2nd half last year! You need Ks because we can't shift. Solid chance he gets outperformed by multiple bargain SPs.
