He is still getting valuable live game experience, which is vital for development. I'm not sure what it was like at the camp last year, but this season is really his first pro development since being drafted. A two year gap from college and pro ball games I have to imagine, would have been detrimental for his development. You are right, it has only been Law that's reported the injury and adjustment to his swing (anyone know if there are others reporting?) that I've read, but I would imagine the FO would not have him play if there was high risk of exacerbating the injury.
