    How many minutes between picks again? Always exciting when some of the expected higher rank guys drop and slides to Jays pick. But I also have high trust in this FO if they go off board a bit, and take underslot to save for 3rd round.

    Ramirez is the type of player Jays should only consider for Biggio+. I know everyone wants FO to pull big trade for run this year. I do as well. But this team has never been in better position asset wise, for a sustained competitive run similar to the 83-93 decade. A big reason for that is having a young core with several controllable years. Cavan is 3-4+ war player entering prime with 4+ years of control remaining.

    TB in another league than everyone else. Wow. Rest of the east lucky they don’t have/unwilling to have payroll resources.

    Rizzo looks to me to be trending down. He’s 32 next month and a FA. I wouldn’t mind trading for him and taking a chance he returns to level he was in 2019, but not at cost of Biggio. I view Biggio as a core player, and I’d only be in favour of trading him for another core type player.

    Nice to see Ryu get back on track. Jays need their ace to perform, if they are to have any shot at the playoffs.

    Vlad is so good, it's hard to imagine that he can still improve. Dude is just 22! It's a pleasure watching him and exciting to see where his ceiling settles at.

    Is that statement fact or conjecture pertaining to sticking stuff contributing to Rodriguez' success? Perhaps I am overvaluing him, but McGuire or Jansen would be a steal in my books.

    I like how aggressive the FO is. It helps to show the young core that they are not going to sit back and be complacent if the team is in a position to contend. Hopefully it convinces the young core (Bichette, Vlad) to be more amenable to signing extensions. I think we need to continue to be buyers rather than sellers, even if Jays seem to be consistently hovering around .500. Make a statement to the young core and the ridiculous upcoming FA class that the FO is focused now on adding only, rather than subtracting.
