The old unintentional intentional walk to Vladdy.
  2. Eat My Shatkins
8 runs might not be enough unless Ryu goes at least 8 innings. Better keep piling it on with the offense.
  3. Eat My Shatkins
Kirk getting close, nice. Now if we could just get a couple of good relievers who throw f***ing strikes.
  4. Eat My Shatkins
The Jays have 8 relievers on the IL right now. If Borucki, Dolis, Phelps, Merryweather, Yates and Cole are around, this team is probably 44-30 instead of 38-36. So if by "clueless" you mean "without a crystal ball" then sure, he's clueless.

My god is our bullpen ever filled with a bunch of useless s*** bags. 5 walks? Walk in the winning run? The Orioles didn't even have to get a hit in the 10th to get the go ahead run for f*** sakes. Just a complete abortion. It was bad enough when these garbage relievers were tossing away games against the Rays and Red Sox, but now they're f***ing blowing it against the goddamn Orioles? f***ing pathetic.

I was looking around at likely non playoff rosters for realistic 3B trade targets and holy s*** what is up with Anthony Rendon this year? 82 wRC+?
  7. Eat My Shatkins
You're probably right. Plus he's a giant dickhead. Getting caught up in some nostalgia probably.
  8. Eat My Shatkins
Jays could use a steady 3B. Would still love to bring JD back at half price. He's not worth $23 million, but maybe the Twins can eat half of that contract. It'd be nice to snag Rogers from the Twins too while they're at it.

Has Moreno played more games at 3B? If so my bet is that's how they plan to get him up to the Jays at some point this season if he doesn't cool off. He's the most athletic catcher they have so it makes sense that he'd be the one they move off of catching in order to keep both he and Kirk's bats in the line up every day.

Yeah, since Stripling's ERA went above 7 and he went and asked for some tips/help from the coaching staff, his 6 starts since his ERA is down close to 2.00. And in that stretch he's pitched against Tampa, Boston, Cleveland, Houston, the Yanks and now Miami. Some some big hitting ball clubs too, definitely not gimme's. Atkins is starting to look like a genius for going out and getting him.
  11. Eat My Shatkins
    Montero? Do you mean Moreno?
  12. Eat My Shatkins
With the off day today maybe the Jays will just skip his spot this time through.
  13. Eat My Shatkins
So, Kevin Smith... What are our realistic expectations for him? Cavan Biggio but with slightly more power and a better glove that can play SS, 3B and 2B with plus defense? Their 24 year old AAA numbers are very similar. That'd be a damn nice player to have I'm thinking.

    The rich get richer
  15. Eat My Shatkins
Mcguire spanking it today. He must think he's in a strip mall parking lot or something.
  16. Eat My Shatkins
Guerrero is becoming pretty much automatic at first.
  17. Eat My Shatkins
    f***ing **** umpire. Piece of f***ing s***
  18. Eat My Shatkins
It's not indicative, but it certainly makes it easier to call him up.
  19. Eat My Shatkins
Who gives a flying f***? How many times to the Jays drill the ball 100+ mph right at some lucky f***. Finally a break. The jays deserve it.
  20. Eat My Shatkins
If Springer gets hurt again this season can go f*** itself.
  21. Eat My Shatkins
Looks like Zach Logue was promoted to AAA and started today. 7 innings, 1 hit, 0 ER, 0 BB and 8 K's Hell yeah
  22. Eat My Shatkins
    lol touche
  23. Eat My Shatkins
Do you try to bring Donaldson back at say...half his contract? And if so, what's the likely cost? He's no MVP candidate anymore, but he'd be a way better option than anybody else the Jays have used at 3B this year. Springer Semien Bichette Vladdy Teo Donaldson Kirk Grichuk/Gurriel Biggio
  24. Eat My Shatkins
Also, what's up with Mr. Invisiball Joey Murray? I googled it but find any updates. Is he out for the season with an injury?
  25. Eat My Shatkins
So I wonder who gets the start on Thursday with Matz out because of COVID? Maybe its Hatch time? Would have to piggy back him though, I don't think he's stretched out yet. Kay? Pearson? Allgeyer? Or *shudder* Zeuch?
