  1. 11 Ks thru 7 for jays pitchers but 7 walks as well. Have to clean that up. And Luciano is having a rough spring. Too bad, he's still very young but I was hoping he'd be one of many dark horses. Nice bounce back outing for Allgeyer though.
  2. Espinal with a lead off double, and then three regulars fail to cash him in (Teo, Rowdy, Jansen)
  3. Manoah K's Dietrich then gets DJLM to ground into a double play to end the inning. Fastball 96-98mph Slider around 85 mph
  4. Aw man, Jiminez was up with bases loaded and nobody out and Orelvis was on deck. f***ing Phillies
  5. According to MLB Ray threw 26 pitches, 24 of them for strikes...is that right? That's a good sign if true.
  6. That's a whole lot of pitchers that i want to see tomorrow. The game isn't on TV though is it? Like, every single f***ing guy I want to watch every pitch they throw, except for maybe Liriano.
  7. lol Got me. I was supremely annoyed that the Red Sox had acquired Kris Bryant. Then extremely relieved that they hadn't.
  8. Exactly. Now, if the Rockies want to include Story with Marquez, that's the basis for a massive blockbuster. Jays would need to be pretty certain they could get Story extended though, and that one of him or Bo would be fine moving to 3rd.
  9. That'd be 3 of our top 10 prospects? Way too much.
  10. Odorizzi is an if too. He's not guaranteed to be a better option than Ray or Pearson. He's just a way more expensive 'if that wants multiple years of commitment.
  11. Hopefully the Jays are in contention and swing a deal for a guy like Luis Castillo or German Marquez mid season.
  12. Probably end up putting Liriano or Mayza on the 40 man. They need another lefty reliever on the 40 man, unless they aren't going to stretch Kay out? Speaking of lefty relievers, is Kirby Snead any good?
  13. He's the youngest in the group and in my opinion brings the best offense/defense combo. He'd also bring his championship experience with him too. Don't get me wrong though, I'd be pretty excited if any of them signed with the Jays.
  14. Yeah, Bo better be a damn good short stop long term to miss out on an opportunity to nab one of those guys. I would have never even considered Correa but then the Jays miraculously lured Springer in. He'd be my first pick, move Bo to second and then have Martin and Groshans battle it out for 3rd. Not sure if Bo would be happy moving to 2nd. He should be though, in order to add a player like that and increase the teams chances at winning it all.
  15. How good of buddies are Springer and Correa? Just wondering.
  16. I really wonder how many of our top prospects make their MLB debuts this season. So to hard gauge them with the missed MILB season, but these guys haven't exactly been sitting around twiddling their thumbs either. Getting lots of work in at the Dunedin facilities against stiff competition and training their asses off too by the sounds of it. Specifically guys like Martin, Groshans, SWR and Manoah. It'll be interesting if guys like that make a push. There isn't too many turds left on the 40 man that you can't wait to see get punted.
  17. Who has a better season, Matz or Walker?
  18. Anybody have any insight on Zululeta? Apparently the guy packs some heat (95-99 mph) and some decent secondaries too. Where does he project to start the season? Fangraphs says AA.
  19. Too bad about Rosenthal but I guess it was a pipe dream to hope the Jays would throw that kind of money at another right handed reliever when they already have Yates, Dolis, Romano, Phelps and a bunch of other potential right handed options as well.
  20. I think people are too concerned with the pitching. I know they're just projections, but fangraphs has the Jays ranked pretty favorably in projected pitching WAR. The starters are ranked 4th in the AL behind the Yankees, White Sox and Twins if I remember correctly. Of course that's based on Ray bouncing back to his career norms and Pearson breaking out a little. Other than Bauer there wasn't a lot out there in free agency this year that really moved the needle much from what the Jays already have.
  21. Hopefully by the time the deadline has passed this season, one of Marquez or Castillo are Jays. Or f*** it anyways, both. lol
  22. Merry Spring Training Eve everyone
