  1. If Springer gets hurt again this season can go f*** itself.
  2. Looks like Zach Logue was promoted to AAA and started today. 7 innings, 1 hit, 0 ER, 0 BB and 8 K's Hell yeah
  3. Do you try to bring Donaldson back at say...half his contract? And if so, what's the likely cost? He's no MVP candidate anymore, but he'd be a way better option than anybody else the Jays have used at 3B this year. Springer Semien Bichette Vladdy Teo Donaldson Kirk Grichuk/Gurriel Biggio
  4. Also, what's up with Mr. Invisiball Joey Murray? I googled it but find any updates. Is he out for the season with an injury?
  5. So I wonder who gets the start on Thursday with Matz out because of COVID? Maybe its Hatch time? Would have to piggy back him though, I don't think he's stretched out yet. Kay? Pearson? Allgeyer? Or *shudder* Zeuch?
  6. I wonder if they will change course with Hatch now. The plan was to stretch him out as a starter, but the bullpen is in shambles and the Jays rotation is actually looking fairly solid lately with Ryu/Ray/Matz/Stripling/Manoah all putting together decent quality starts for the most part the last few times thru. Maybe they shift Hatch back to the pen when he's ready?
  7. Nice to have a pending log jam behind the plate. Great problem to have. Hopefully Jansen can figure out how to hit better and build some value. In the meantime, I wonder if Adam's can hit at MLB the way he has hit all the way up the ladder do they maybe try to convert him to a 3B? Just thinking he might be more valuable if he can play both C and 3B to not only the Jays but also trade value wise.
  8. What about Saucedo? 2.20 ERA / 1.57 FIP / 2.12 xFIP / 11.57 K/9 / 1.10 BB/9 Or Hobie Harris? 1.50 ERA / 4.06 FIP / 2.96 xFIP / 13.50 K/9 / 3.75 BB/9
  9. Nice to see guys like Martin and Orelvis heating up. Now we need Groshans to get going too.
  10. Yeah early in thw season it looked like Warmoth might be the pleasant surprise prospect at AAA, but he's gone ice cold and Smith has been pouring it on. Riley Adam's with a 1.010 OPS now. He's hit at every level now up to AAA.
  11. Finally win a series against a good team? Jays won a series against Tampa 2-1 They've won all three series against the Yankees 2-1 They swept the Braves twice They won the series against Cleveland They beat the Phillies 2-1 in that series The only reason they didn't take 2 of 3 from Bpston and 3 of 4 from Tampa a couple of weeks ago was because the bullpen fell apart. This whole season so far has been against good teams for the most part. They're doing just fine.
  12. Lol everytime the Jays lose a game or two the same collection of buttheads show up with all their hot f***ing takes.
  13. Hatch pitched again in Buffalo finally. 2 innings, 1 walk, 1 K no hits, no runs. Biggio also played for the Bisons today, 1 for 4 with a homer. Also, Smith went 2 for 4 with a walk and Adams 1 for 3 with a walk as both guys continue to stay fairly hot after slow starts. Smith with an .883 OPS and Adam's rocking a 1.010 OPS.
  14. Is there any chance we see a Kirk/Moreno catching tandem on the Jays before the season is over? Or is that just not a very likely scenario? The way Moreno is hitting you'd like to see him get the call to AAA at least, but they've got Riley Adams already there with his .900+ OPS and 142 wRC+ You also have to wonder if Adams gets the call to the Jays soon they way he's been hitting. Good problem to have.
  15. Let's just have a clean 9th please. Don't f***ing walk anyone.
  16. I would just put Springer at lead off and bump everyone down one spot. Springer Semien Bo Vladdy Hernandez
  17. Adams went 2 for 2 with a walk in game 1 today and two home runs for the Bisons. He's got his OPS up to 0.914 at AAA Also, Kevin Smith has quietly and steadily gotten his OPS up to 0.864 down there. Not too shabby.
  18. Martin and Groshans certainly aren't lighting up AA, especially Groshans. It's still early, but it'd be nice if they were showing more at that level right now.
  19. Any other pearls of wisdom retard? Is the sky blue? f*** off
  20. No s***, thanks tips. They still should not have won all 4 of these games. They're lucky ****s on top of being good.
  21. The Rays are ****s and can go f*** themselves. I can't believe they are getting a 4 game sweep the way these games went down. f***ing ********
  22. That's a bit of a relief. He was off to a bit of a slow start for sure.
  23. s*** happens. Relievers can't be perfect all the time, and despite Dolis' warts, he's been a pretty goddamn effective high leverage reliever for the Jays. I miss having a hammer though, to nail it down. It's a shame we had to waste 14k/9 100 miles Giles on a non contender. He'd look f***ing incredible on the back end right now.
  24. Stripling and Kay both with excellent starts last time out, Matz too. Manoah and Pearson banging on the door, Hatch about to return from the IL... Things looking up for the rotation, which is huge because right now with all the injuries it feels like the bullpen is being held together with duct tape.
