  1. Manoah out now, leaves with an 11-0 lead 6.0 IP 1 Hit 0 Runs 0 Earned Runs 2 Walks 5 K's Rocking a 0.00 ERA still 76 pitches, 49 strikes
  2. Logan Warmoth is 2 for 3 with a walk tonight and his OPS is nearing 1.000 He's looking more and more like a real prospect again with every passing day. Playing CF tonight too.
  3. He's lighting it up for sure. Martin and Groshans are off to slow starts though.
  4. Gah. Manoah had a no-no going thru 5 innings, but then some 30 year old AAA goober led off with a double in the 6th.
  5. Alek Manoah suxxxxx He's only got 4 K's thru 4 innings today. Also 0 hits, 0 runs, 1 walk, 1 hit batter and just 46 pitches (30 strikes). Bust. I expect double digit K/9 numbers or they might as well send him back to A ball.
  6. Well yeah, not every team can say that and not many teams could be where the Jays are now with as many injuries and underperforming players as they have right now. Smart ass. Lol
  7. Nice job by the Jays to be two games above .500 with that schedule and all the injuries. Imagine the line up with .850 OPS Springer instead of .530 OPS Tellez, .800 OPS Kirk instead of .400 OPS Jansen, if Gurriel remembers that he's an .850 OPSer instead of a .500 OPSer and Biggio also remember that he's a .750 OPSer instead of a .600 OPSer. Trade for Scherzer, add the best one out of Manoah and Pearson to the rotation, and stick the other one in the pen for high leverage along with Merryweather, Phelps, Dolis and Castro. Dayum!
  8. Palacios is out 6-8 weeks. He got hit on the hand with a pitch on Sunday.
  9. Chatwood is a f***ing machine, and Thornton has really come around too. One thing with Shatkins, they can really build a bullpen. Holy s***. Missing Yates, Merryweather, Dolis, Castro and Phelps.....but not missing a goddamn beat.
  10. Ray's last 4 starts: 24.2 IP 33 K's 1 BB but... 7 homers given up.
  11. Man we need Jansen to get his s*** together at the plate so the Jays can get something for him before they have to DFA him. He'd already be the back up if Kirk hadn't gotten hurt, and when Moreno arrives that's it for him completely.
  12. He stuff is like that all the time as a starter. He's played in 35 games over 4 seasons in the minors and started all 35 of them, so he brings that stuff and command as a starter constantly. He's just got MLB jitters. It happens. He'll get over it.
  13. I don't think they're 1st place in the entire MLB good, they've played a ton of games against Baltimore, Texas, Minnesota (who has struggled), Seattle, etc
  14. Here, just so people don't forget how awesome Nate's "stuff" is because they literally haven't seen him pitch in 7 months and then watched him with the yips yesterday. How do you imbed youtube on here?
  15. What are you basing this on? His appearance yesterday? He looked like s*** yesterday, I wouldn't base anything off of that, it wasn't even 3 innings. His "stuff" is absolutely incredible otherwise. Did you not see him last year against the Rays in the playoffs? His "stuff" was un-f***ing-hittable. The Rays had a World Series caliber line up and they literally couldn't touch his "stuff".
  16. Yeah for sure. Hopefully we're not the ones out lol
  17. lol @ that pitch chart. Big Nate will be fine. Keep rolling him out there.
  18. Scherzer is 36 now and a free agent next off season. I wonder what kind of contract he'll be looking to sign? I'd love to see the Jays get him.
  19. Pearson has the yips. It's nerves, all mental. As soon as he starts missing the zone it snowballs. He'll get it sorted out. Same thing happened last year and once he got comfortable he torched the Rays in the playoffs like they were a team full of AAAA scrubs.
  20. The yips are real, and this is what they look like.
  21. This is why you don't walk the s*** bags at the bottom of the Astros order. Now you've got the bases loaded and Brantley/Bregman/Alvarez coming up.
