    Calling the AL weak is pretty incorrect. How can you say that when the Rays, White Sox and Astros look so damn good and the Athletics and the Red Sox are squeezing everything they can out of their teams and then you got the Indians, Yankees and Angles all looking to compete for a wild card.

    I remember that he a uptick but i thought that was just into like 93-94 range not all the way up to 97. His sinker is a plus big league pitch if he keep it up.

    That's just Adell having a poor overall approach at the dish lol. He's swinging hard at everything regardless of if he should swing or not it seems. Haven't seen his atbats on video or anything but my guess is he's being fooled on sliders and changeups out of the zone and still chasing cause he has a poor eye and just crushing the meatballs AAA pitchers are throwing up.

    How is this making the sabr crowd cringe? Isnt this the approach that all teams these days tell their hitters to take. Swing hard in case you hit it type of thing. I thought this was what the analytics said was the most efficient way to score runs.

    That doesnt work for every game spanky. Not all ballparks feed data into baseball savant. Afaik there arent any AAA or AA parks that work. I think dunedin feeds into it which is nice.

    57 wins is easily accomplishable imo. Barring more injuries and picking up a couple of good relievers this team could be the best team in the league in the second half.

    No clue haha the AAA games arent on statcast unfortunately. I have to imagine that hes definitely doing something that he hasnt the last few years. He had a decent 90-93 fastball that could have success up in the the zone iirc but he didnt have much else so he probably either added some velo or added a wipeout breaking ball.

    Waguespack is striking out a s*** ton of batters this year in AAA. K% highest its been since he was in low A. Wonder if this just a random hot streak or if he is actually better at missing bats. Id have to imagine if hes K'ing that many batters as a starter it would be worthwhile to give him a shot as a 1 inning reliever to see if he can translate that swing and miss to the big leagues.

    Its also possible the Jays offense puts up a 5 spot in the 10th and makes it irrelevant who pitches the 10th.

    Hobie Harris apparently throws 100 and has been lights out. Dont know why he hasnt been given a shot. Kirby Snead spams sliders and is a lefty so seems like he would have a role against lineups with 3 or more lefties (like the Rays).
