    Straw and Varsho a lot closer to each other at this stage than most people think. Straw is faster, has a better arm and better defensively to me. Varsho has the obvious extra base power.

    Hopefully it isnt s career altering injury like it was for Bautista. Good news is that he was supposed to be getting reps in the minors like tomorrow or the day after so we'll see then.

    Yes I understand there should be an extent to which you look at the expected results but its been 1.5 years of pathetic results. He is not some youngster where you want to keep giving unlimited chances to. The fact it took the Jays so long to move him off the closer role was infuriating. I think his performance plays differently if he was moved to the 7th/8th inning role that he's had during the best part of his career. Also, Hoffman was given a 3 year deal so its harder to cut bait whereas Green was coming off major surgery with less money remaining in regards to tnat comparison.

    JS has been sticking up for him for over a year when the entire fanbase has been at his throat. It really hasnt helped his performance overall but happy he came through that inning lol.

    Please upgrade the offense on this team so Straw doesnt pinch hit for our cleanup hitter. And yes, this happened even when we were healthy to Barger twice I believe and about 10 times this season. And even more yes, this just means JS is a f***ing idiot lol.
