    Not gonna be a popular comment but the Jays will need to upgrade at least one/two of Clement/Lukes/Gimenez/Bateman in the lineup offensively depending on who that player(s) is/are for next season. My guess is that it'll be Clement and/or Lukes depending on whos available and they take the role of the ultimate sub/injury insurance.

    I meant whether Springer doesn't want to go out there or JS feels Sanchez is better... its weird. No one's asking him to be a regular OFer at this stage but even the worst OFers still get out there here and there to help the team. He still moves around the bases pretty well.

    Springer refusing to take the field at all is one of the weirder things of the season considering how well hes still running the bases and how pathetic Sanchez is out there. Letting Kirk DH during his off days is clearly better for the team...

    Haha JaysBlue... u cannot be surprised we suck at this stage man. Disappointing as hell and even more disappointing how ok from top down everyone is. Franchises for more successful than us have been firing people for their underperformance even for half a season and yet we treat Shatkins like theyve won dynasties for us. Sucks we got embarrassed but happy at least the people who deserve criticism for their part in the failure are hearing it finally.
