    Yup, because he got a fat contract that he hasnt earned on the field so the Jays feel compelled to make it work. He's statistically one of the worst relievers for the past 1.5 seasons based on his ACTUAL performance lol.

    You give Varland a pass based on his entire season... he was always going to normalize a bit. Asking Ernie to bunt was ridiculous. Sitting Kirk who had played 3 days in a row at AAA but cant even do back to backs as a DH for the club that matters. Its only against the Yankees ffs.

    He literally played 3 games in a row before he got here where he DH'd, caught and DH'd again. He will probably sub in this game anyways so its not asking much at all if he could just DH where you sit on your ass for 95% of the game. Anyways, Go Jays Go

    Someone please tell me why Kirk isnt DHing after his performance yesterday? It was his f***ing thumb man and Vladdy is already out of the lineup. Get Springer's ass in the field, he cant be worse than Pinango/Sanchez out there.
