  1. he does usually hit about one in 20 PAs so I could see it today. What's the point of having a guy with no glove and no speed on the roster if he only has 23 PAs 31 games into the season...oof. I'll go with Varsho today.
  2. Because arbitration calculations won't consider if it was a max effort situation or not would be one reason I'd guess.
  3. April 30 Vladdy - 2 Points Bichette - 3 Points - Dylan Schneider- 3 Points - mphenhef Turner - 3 Points Springer - 4 Points Biggio - 5 Points Kirk - 6 Points Kiner-Falefa - 7 Points Clement - 8 Points The Bench (Any PH): 10 Points Hopefully I end my drought.
  4. April 29 Vladdy - 2 Points Varsho - 2 Points Schneider- 3 Points Springer - 4 Points - mphenhef Turner - 4 Points Jansen - 5 Points Biggio - 5 Points Barger - 6 Points Kiner-Falefa - 7 Points The Bench (Any PH): 10 Points
  5. Some Constanza didn't think it through.
  6. so he would fit in just great with this team?
  7. Maybe getting rid of his friends and his jacket has had a mental impact on him that's affecting his performance on the field.
  8. I was thinking yesterday there was a time where adding a no homer hit option wouldn’t have payed out too often…now it would far too often. Anyway, I will take Schneider today.
  9. Vladito please
  10. April 24 Vladdy - 2 Points Varsho - 2 Points - Spanky Bichette - 3 Points - Dylan Vogelbach - 4 Points - Omar Springer - 4 Points Jansen - 5 Points - Jonn Biggio - 5 Points Barger - 6 Points - bones10, mphenhef Clement - 8 Points - wilko The Bench (Any PH): 10 Points
  11. Vlad for me tonight please
  12. It's a good thread, but I don't want to see Vlad compared to other underperforming Jays players.
  13. Many on this board erroneously think a closer should close out 100% of their save opportunities. Even Mo blew nearly 1 in 9 of his opportunities. Career save percentage: Mo - 89.1% Eckersly - 84.3% Hoffman 88.8% KRod - 85.2% Wagner 85.9% Henke - 85.0% Duane Ward - 77.1% Edwin Diaz 86.7% Devin Williams 85.7% Romano 89.3%
  14. Report I read said his velo went down from where it normally is before being removed. I'm not sure if the 91 was reduced or expected velo though.
  15. I don't think so. Snider probably takes the steak there. The expectations for Lawrie and Hinske after their rookie seasons were pretty high too.
  16. Can you imagine how much Barger and Orelvis would be getting talked about if they played for Norfolk?
  17. I will go with Schneider tonight
  18. Without the players consent they aren't even legally allowed to.
  19. Given how pitcher injuries have skyrocketed I am really starting to wonder if the industry as a whole took a big swing and miss with all the babying of pitchers and light workloads in the minors are actually causing more injuries. There could be a couple of things at play: 1. You've got these guys going 3IP max and because of that they go max effort the full 3IP. 2. Guys get to the majors and are throwing 2-3 as many innings a game than what they have done through most of their time in the minors. Of course the second can't be the case for Ricky, but maybe the first point is?
  20. SSS, but he is slugging 719 with 4 doubles, 2 triples and a home in 36 PAs in AA this year.
  21. Did anyone see any updates on this?
  22. And starting it all against a knuckleballer. Normally this would screw with their timing but with their timing already being off maybe it will have the opposite effect and fix it?
