    They are discussing this on MLB radio.com.. It makes perfect sense what the Jays are doing and they laid out the positive and negatives. I am agree with their consensus, this is a good move for the club.

    Absolutely wrong, I am sorry, but with all due respect you are very, very wrong on this. NO WAY the Jays win the AL East or the ALDS without Tulo.

    We would have never had 2015, 2016 without Tulo. What do the fans care, they want the team to spend money, they did. It worked, the back end was part of the deal, can't get something for nothing. We could have had Reyes and been paying a shitload and never have gotten to the ALDS.

    The Raptors will not go far in the playoffs with Lowry on the team, Kawi cannot carry them solo. I have wanted for a long time DeRozan, JV and Lowry traded, so far I only got one of the 3 and it is paying off biggley! JV and Lowry are not when the going gets tough, the tough get going players.

    Why would he agree to a buy out, unless equal to amount owed? Why would the Players's union allow this, even if Tulo agreed? Imagine the precedent!? It could nullify all injured players guaranteed money or veterans or FA back-loaded contracts if they are not performing.. I just do not see the Union nor agents allowing this. Imagine an agent received a 6% commission on a $150,000,000.00 USD deal. He probably already spent that money. 4 yrs later the player says, ok, give me just $125,000,000.00 and I will walk. Does the agent have to give back the difference..? I don't see this being a Tulo decision in a vacuum, the agents, and Players Union will have their say..

    I actually think that Boxcar would be a good mod. Regardless if I agree with him, or if he agrees with you, he seems fair, not dictorial and understands the concept of not oppressing differing opinions, even if they are not in alignment with yours.

    My understanding is the dirt infield is still harder then if it was all grass stadium with dirt infield. The inner diamond, OF and foul lines are all still turf. It has to have an afect long term IMO.

    I am not saying there is a direct correlation to injuries, but it certainly doesnt help.. Spend the $ and gets the fnnn grass put in!! There has to be an IRR if you look at injuries, sunk costs, players not wanting to play on turf, longevity. Should be a priority IMO.

    You guys see the players going on the Blue Jays Winter Roadtrip to Halifax? 2-5 as I was hoping/am strongly hoping would be traded. I would love to see it happen and they have to scramble to find players who want to tour Canada in the winter.
