I think that is just a bad pic and the Jays did him an injustice by using that pic. If you see other in game photos etc he is nowhere near that ugly. As I tell the girls on Tinder, I am much better looking in person then my pics, unlike half the chicks on there who are photoshopped and look like Hildabeast in person. 😎

Betts was on the team last year, as were the majority of the same players. They needed a big power bat to replace Big Papi and didn't advance. This year they are in the WS and JD is a huge part of it. So if you are taking the acronym MVP literally, I would say JD.

I will say one thing about SRF, even though I had him as a long term bust. In a season with not much to cheer for or get excited, I think one of my top 3 Blue Jays moments this past season was when we were playing Boston and SRF was pitching. There was an inning in a close game where I think there was bases loaded no outs, he ended up Kng the side, or at least getting out of it unscathed. In that game, that inning in the moment, that was freaking awesome. You would have thought we won the WS I was so stoked at that. That is all..

Price has one decent playoff game as a SP. Sale was in the hospital last week. I want Boston to win and think they will, but those are two serious isues. Lastly, when in the NL park, not having the DH is going to further weaken Boston more so then LA.

Pretty sure I said things look optimistic, but we have zero sustained successful major league results so far from this regime. So to say that the curent regime is better then AA is a false narrative because is so far it is only in theory and farm system rankings. I also have said repeatedly I dont think Shapiro gives up the prospect capital to get Miller down the stretch and IMO Indians dont advance to WS game 7 without Miller.
