I disagree, with you. The runner on 2nd trying to steal signs is a integral part of baseball. Hence pitchers and catchers switch up signs when a runner is on 2nd. The issue here is NOT stealing of signs, it is solely and only the use of electronic aides to facilitate the stealing. Banging on a trash can has been going on since at least the 70s if not prior...

Canadian Criminal code doesn't apply to Texas and that law is doesn't even apply in this situation.. You are trying to assert that deflating a ball is criminal? As pointed out, banging on trash cans has been going on in baseball for ever.... The signs were relayed by runners or people. The only difference now is video vs runner etc. This is an administrative rule. They were not throwing the game for betting purposes.

In multi- million and billion dollar industries all across the board there is pushing the limits to try and get a competitive advantage.. Govts bug even friendly Govts to get insight on trade negotiations. The Blue Jays apparently had a man in White and a trainer on staff ejecting their SP with roids... Don't get me started with the Chinese.... It is reality and I was being tongue n cheek. There are probably a lot more teams doing same s***.. Just no one investigates or focuses on a team that comes in 4th in their division and does not make the playoffs..

Why? Apparently the trainers were in on it, everyone knew what was going on? Having the players actually cheating vs just using some electronic aide. The players still have to perform.. They still have to catch up with and hit the fastball over the fence or for a double etc... I would say equal plane... as far as an asterisk would go.. If you had a overage kid on a Little League WS team, and the coach etc knew... Same thing IMO. Player, electronics, cheating is cheating...

What about all the players supposedly on roids who contributed to WS champions? Should we put an asterisks beside any Yankees WS win that had Clemens as an example?? If you ain't cheating you ain't trying.. Just be prepared to suffer the consequences if caught...

So, I was going to ask Pendelton to be my scouting director for my Fantasy drafts. However, now that Pendelton has a team in the same league and is the competition I should ask Luhnow, seems like he will have free time and nothing else to do with baseball..

It probably wouldn't matter if we backed up the Brinks truck.. However, I think the fact we still have turf in the OF is a talking point among FA OF from what I understand... There is a perception that it will mess them up and possibly shorten their career, etc..
