I'm a little more optimistic on those names, but I agree in that not every one of them will pan out obviously. Even getting 1 mid rotation starter and 1-2 good bullpen arms will go a long way into filling holes on the major league roster.
By upside I just meant they have more potential on paper than the Mike Hauschilds' and Nick Tepesch's that we end up signing to MiLB deals. They're unknown quantities and young, so maybe it's a little easier to get excited about them than 28 year old minor league veterans even though they may not pan out.
