  1. I'm too lazy to go searching through my posts but I could swear I proposed something pretty darn close to these numbers at one point.
  2. I was more just being facetious and mocking those who would immediately write him off as a prospect due to body type. Your points are valid for sure.
  3. Stats don't matter, he's too husky to be legit.
  4. Or even if we could move him reclamation project reliever and maybe save a couple million bucks in the process, that would work.
  5. No, what gives you that idea?
  6. Best of luck to Saunders
  7. Necessary move for sure
  8. The colours on the blue ink ball are really nice, would make for a good display piece.
  9. I heard he took it one step further and has put on another 35lbs of muscle this off season.
  10. AirBnB is the way to go if you want affordable lodging for a bigger group. Just make sure you go with a reputable host.
  11. $3.25M it is, check out my math skills.
  12. Yeah there's a chance he winds up providing excellent value at $1.5M, but given his career trajectory, it's no guarantee.
  13. Do we need a new thread everytime someone gets nervous? The off season hasn't ended yet, let's wait and see how it unfolds before we bother analyzing.
  14. Neat, here's hoping Maness turns out to be a success.
  15. Yeah even a couple years later when discussing the extension, Atkins way saying that he believes Smoak's upside exceeds his current production, likely for the same reason (hard contact). He's 29 though, at some point soon he either needs to put it together or he winds up a AAAA bat that leaves you wanting more.
  16. I don't know if you got the impression that I was complaining or something but I was just merely posting the info in case someone found it interesting. I'm aware that lot's of HS picks go unsigned.
  17. Four unsigned Jays picks from the 2014 draft are ranked in BA's top 100 College prospects for this year. 8) RHP Tanner Houck (12th round) 74) RHP Zach Pop (23rd round) - from Brampton 77) LHP Jake Latz (11th round) 79) C Mike Papierski (16th round) http://www.baseballamerica.com/college/2017-college-top-100-draft-prospects/#GyUtOQIszXl58jwr.97
  18. JV and Dero show
  19. Quit looking at the Orioles, we're over here! Haha no seriously I agree but in those five weeks I'm still expecting at least a move or two of significance and either way it would take a worse looking team than this to stifle my enthusiasm for baseball being back.
  20. Just over five weeks away, can see the light at the end of the snow tunnel.
  21. The Rays were named as a potential landing spot for Bautista (hometown team), maybe this kills whatever chance there was of that happening.
  22. Probably would be a cool experience too.
  23. Yeah exactly, I think we can all agree this front office won't sell the farm for short term gain, but Puig is just heading into what should be his prime age and has three years of control, with the first two being cheap as you mentioned. That's a worthwhile investment on a very talented athlete at our greatest position of need, assuming the prospect cost isn't insane.
  24. I'm not sure if we would have what they're looking for. Maybe we send the prospects to the Twins that get Dozier to Anaheim?
