    At that point in the draft it was basically a choice between taking someone bad who likely won't play much, or taking someone decent and hoping they have a down year. I'm banking on Drury's bat struggling due to focusing on a new position, but who knows.

    ^ Very good idea. At this point in his career, he appears to have a very low chance of having anything more than a low impact as a position player. As a high school LHP he apparently showed a lot of upside, it's worthwhile to see if he's more useful on the mound.

    We used the rule growing up in fast pitch tournaments and still use it for my men's league in the tournament and playoffs (regular season games just end in ties).
