  1. If you want something done right, do it yourself...using AI But seriously, if you can't find what you are looking for on YouTube - there are AI video generator tools that would allow you to convert Jays centre articles into videos.
  2. Canadian kid Sam Shaw must be pushing his way up into top 10-15 territory in the system. Among 61 qualified hitters in the FSL he ranks fifth with a 145 wRC+. He's first in BB/KK ratio at 0.98 (18.3 BB% vs 18.7) K%), third in OBP and fifth in wOBA with both being .407 Seems like a strong candidate for a promotion to Vancouver in his age 20 season
  3. Rays RHP Hunter Bigge just took a hard foul ball to the head while in the Rays dugout. He was down several minutes before being taken off on a stretcher with his neck stabilized. He gave a thumbs up on his way off, which is always reassuring
  4. A couple years back, the Titans had a former Yanks prospect who was accused of stealing memorabilia from teammates to sell for profit
  5. Devers would have had his 10/5 rights kick in by the end of next season, as this was his ninth year in Boston. If they wait past next year, and then decide they want to deal him - by then you are looking at a 30+ year old bat only guy making 30M+ who also has the right to veto any destination he doesn't like. In that regard, although the timing did seem a bit surprising - I do see why they would choose to strike now
  6. Chapman is currently injured, but based on recent history, I'd think they are better off settling Devers into a different role rather than have him fill in anywhere. I'd assume that they aren't too far off from promoting Eldridge at 1B, so I'm guessing Devers is their DH moving forward. If you think of him in the context of a DH/bat only who makes $30M and gets moody about having to field a position when asked - I guess I can see why his trade value might lag behind his name value.
  7. I'm sure this gives the BoSox boat loads of added flexibility, but maybe they'll find flexibility isn't more valuable than their best hitter
  8. This is the first that I've come across this "draft and follow" idea, but from what I gather - he was drafted out of HS last year and not signed, but they were still able to retain his rights under this new rule. Now he's signed after his freshman season.

  10. If I'm honest, I can't say I love this pitching matchup on paper.
  11. I would have to think the bonus pool money acquired in this deal, should now make us a frontrunner for this kid if he is declared a FA this year
  12. Catcher - wanted Carson Kelly until he was signed and then wanted to stick with Heineman = double correct Jack Flaherty Austin Hays (139 wRC+) Pete Alonso Although in full disclosure I also had Corbin Burnes in a Blue Jays uniform as my avatar on here so I'm partially full of s***
  13. Except for all the guys I wanted to sign
  14. In terms of making Little League style mistakes, that was definitely right up there from Springer. Cannot have a rally killed that way
  15. Admittedly I was on it for awhile. It's probably a similar dopamine hit to ripping physical packs and collecting but just in digital form. You complete the various sets within given time parameters and then get "rewards" which are usually either an exclusive card of some sort and/or coins needed to buy more packs. Then you can also make user to user trades and complete sets that way. I ended up lucking into some pretty exclusive pulls on there, a Marcelo Mayer 1/25 and Judge 1/35. I actually do see people listing their more exclusive digital Bunt cards like those on eBay, no idea if they actually sell or not. Also have heard of people selling their entire account. The perfect use of the app might be to introduce your youngster to the concept of card collecting, a bit earlier than they'd maybe be ready to take care of physical cards
