  1. Four days until Spring Training! A member of the Jays for his first eight big league seasons and he had a career year for the '92 World Series club, #4 is Manny Lee!
  2. Five days until Spring Training! Another strong defensive infielder, #5 spent his final eleven big league seasons in Toronto, it's Rance Mulliniks
  3. Six days until Spring Training! Highly respected for his hustle, heart and top notch defense, #6 is John McDonald!
  4. 2B Damaso Garcia spent seven seasons with the Jays in the 80s. Garcia had a career 7.2 WAR across eleven years, but managed a 4.6 win season for the Jays in 1982, on the back of a .310 average.
  5. At first glance, I thought that was JA Happ on the mound, but it's actually Pat Rapp
  6. Seven days until Spring Training! We are just a week away from baseball!!! For #7 I'm going with a hitter who socked a career high 41 dingers for the Jays in the year 2000, using a very unique batting stance that is not doubt burned in your mind - it's former Blue Jays and Expos INF Tony Batista!
  7. Eight days until Spring Training! #8 doesn't have the same star power as some numbers. I'm going with a long tenured Blue Jay who spent the first eight seasons of his career in Toronto, it's Alex Gonzalez
  8. People talk as though the Jays hands are similarly tied by bloated/aging contracts but the Padres are in way worse shape. Plus they've decimated their farm with all the trades, and have to play in a division with the Dodgers - bleak outlook
  9. 9 days until Spring Training! Some strong candidates here but one separates from the pack, it's all star 1B John Olerud!
  10. 10 days until Spring Training! #10 has some great names, we'll start off with all star CF Vernon Wells!
  11. Can't leave out MVP George Bell
  12. Traded him to the Mets for Robert Person, just before Xmas in 1996
  13. 11 days until Spring Training! This pitcher was acquired by the Jays twice, winning a WS in 1992, it's David Cone!
  14. 12 days until Spring Training! Tough choice here but I'm going with one of the longest tenured Blue Jays of all time, and a Canadian Baseball legend, it's Ernie Whitt!
  15. 13 days until Spring Training! For #13 I'm going with a tough as nails catcher turned Jays broadcaster, it's Buck Martinez!
  16. OF Lloyd Moseby spent a decade with the Jays, the entire 1980s which coincidentally were also his age 20 through 29 seasons
