  1. I like the first Bowman cards, essentially their first major release as a pro. You get a numbered first Bowman auto for a prospect and it can blow up like a penny stock. I bought a numbered Sam Shaw (Canadian born Jays prospect) first Bowman auto earlier this year
  2. Ranked 13th of 15 umps on the day, that would have normally flown completely under the radar otherwise. The first call was pretty funny though

  4. Tried to have a pre game nap and slept through the entire game
  5. Live shot of the Blue Jays batting at Coors
  6. Both of these Varsho home runs had that sound
  7. The only time it's good to have a Green out
  8. I think the point of this was to free up Wagner's 40man spot for this year, while adding a potential back up catcher prospect for the near future. Valenzuela can be added to the 40man next year and replace Ali Sanchez as the third catcher on the depth chart
  9. https://medium.com/@dannyb_/a-breakdown-on-padres-prospect-brandon-valenzuela-9207a0437e37 Found a recent report on Valenzuela
  10. In the last year, we have added two of the most accomplished SP acquired in franchise history.
  11. Read that the Guardians are seeking a young catcher and the Dodgers are after Kwan, so perhaps we'll see Kwan for Rushing(+)
  12. He still has two minor league options yeah, I don't expect to see him in the bigs unless he forces his way into the picture next spring
  13. Had a feeling Stephen might be trade bait. He has the right combination of performance/present day value to make a team feel fairly certain they are getting a future big leaguer, but still a questionable enough ceiling to where we shouldn't have too much concern about him biting us by becoming a superstar. Of all our prospects he just really seemed to fit right into that perfect tier - valuable but expendable. I could see him becoming an entirely average SP
  14. Doesn't matter if intentional or not, you make them pay for their carelessness costing us. Someone in an O's uniform should wear one today
  15. Hopefully can have a big lead by the time Lauer comes out and then have a hard throwing reliever take one of the O's out of commission for a few weeks with a pitch on the hands. That Springer incident was complete ********. Holliday could stand to use some key development time, let's go with him
  16. Cabrera has been my favourite pitching target all along, I'd definitely be happy with that deal. He's good now but still gives the impression that the best is yet to come. Walker can turn him into a bonafide stud.
