    The Phillies must have done a lot for the family once Roy died. All her statements are through them, Braden is going to Penn State University, and now this. Roy retired as a Jay, so she knows what his intention was. I wonder if she asked for Roy to go in as a Phillie and the Hall flat out said no, leaving blank as a compromise.

    Alex Rodriguez is going to be a fascinating one, but I think he gets in eventually. I agree with Terminator that Bonds and Clemens won’t get in. There are just too many voters that will never vote for either under any circumstances.

    TBF they mainly don’t vote for Bonds and Clemens for moral reasons, not talent. Still the wrong reasons IMO, but more justifiable.

    Well Braden is committed to Penn state so it’s possible the family has closer ties to Philadelphia now.

    When we’re ready to compete again we can acquire 1 or 2 outfielders (plus some starting pitchers). We don’t need to have every position filled by home grown prospects.
