    Because players don't play as many games in the minor leagues and the grind of a MLB season is insane. Rookies aren't used to playing every single day.

    My issue with Elvis has always been I'm not sure that a season of being out of his depth is good for his development. He's at least a couple of years away from a "proper" call up, which might never even happen. On the other hand wins this year are irrelevant and if he had a more normal season developing in the Royals farm, it might be good for him personally but wouldn't be for us. My preference has always been to try to work out a trade - at least the Royals get something and we can send him to the minors where he belongs.

    I liked their reminiscing about a seven hour game delay and other things - such a better team when Pat isn't there. Dan even explained why bunting isn't an optimal approach when Buck was trying to say it was.

    TBF they weren’t saying don’t aim to hit it hard. They meant that if even the pitches you don’t hit well fall in for hits then you’re going to have a high average - which is technically correct.

    I think he’d be good in England, but yeah he hasn’t shown the form of 2 years ago. Juventus will definitely be willing to let him go now and they keep getting linked to Marcelo (to reunite with Ronaldo). Your team is another squad of superstars, I wonder if you can get Pogba back?

    The Angels are warming up, 2.5 games out of a wildcard with Trout and Ohtani hitting back to back in the lineup. They definitely need some pitching though. Another potential trade partner for Stroman?

    Pat is a bad influence on Buck. Buck is ok when working with someone else but Pat and him together just get sucked into tired cliches and moaning about the shift.

    So Man City only need a left back in the summer. Best case they get Alex Sandro from Juventus for £50 odd million. Worst case = Danny Rose to reunite with Kyle Walker. I think Liverpool need a new midfielder (though Oxlade Chamberlain being fit will help) and a few squad players (fullbacks and a forward if Sturridge leaves) to challenge again.

    Haha that makes a bit more sense. You really should start putting a bit more effort in though, at least put who we are playing and the date in the title!
