I still think the Bucks would push them close, but yeah the Warriors have shown again that even without Durant they are the favourites. With him they are close to unbeatable.

I remember thinking that Solarte was a good pick up for us as a backup infielder, but man his career has fallen apart since we signed him. He’s now a free agent again after sucking so far this season with the Giants.

I only tend to start GDT’s when I know I’ll be watching the full game. Call me a casual, but I wasn’t going to stay up until 3am to watch us play the White Sox, haha. -
Warriors have got to be pleased they have avoided a game 7 and can now give Durant enough time to be fully recovered for the finals.

All I could find was this Buffalo News article which doesn't really go into detail other than he's working hard, and the coaches don't expect him to be down much longer: Blue Jays' Lourdes Gurriel Jr. building confidence through muscle memory I love articles like this that paint a picture and give some depth to players' situations, but it's not very useful from an analytical viewpoint.

Fun fact: Brito has now put up a negative WAR over twice as bad as Chris Davis this season. -
The Bucks dealt surprisingly easily with the Celtics after the Celtics dominated game 1, and the Bucks bench looks like a real asset. I think they could push the Warriors a lot closer than many anticipated if they get past the Raptors/76ers. Obviously if Curry, Klay and Durant all shoot lights out it doesn't really matter who the opponent is, but all 3 being on fire in the same game hasn't happened much in the playoffs this year.

I really dislike Arsenal and one of my friends is a deluded Arsenal fan who never accepts their weaknesses - but even then it'd be pretty cool to see a monopoly of English teams in the European finals!

In all seriousness, how do the Jays stop him from eating? It would be cutting their nose off to spite their face if they said lose weight or you won't play or will stay in the minors.

No what is wrong with the world today is people online cherry picking one point out of a series of points and condemning the person rather than pointing out why that particular point is wrong. -
Imagine if Liverpool win nothing this year, despite having one of their best seasons ever (record points total in the league & knocking out the favourites on route to a second CL final in a row).

Unbelievable results. Both Liverpool and Spurs were completely outclassed in the 1st legs, and Spurs were again by far 2nd best in the 1st half tonight. The final is going to be great.

The Brito acquisition has been condemned by the majority of the board and rightly so. Trading Pillar only to replace him with Brito made no sense. You either trade Pillar to give a prospect a chance, keep him, or upgrade him. Not acquire a perennial DFA candidate who is out of options.

As much as I don't think Vlad's early issues are a result of being over hyped, you can't compare the pressure of playing in the minors to the majors. Everything is under more scrutiny, there are multiple cameras and replays of everything you do etc etc.
