  1. Calm down mate. He was clearly saying Tucker as the centrepiece for a combined Stroman/Giles trade, and acknowledged Houston wouldn’t want Giles back.
  2. An overrated/popular Jays lineup would be fun to put together. McDonald, Kawasaki, Lawrie, Snider are all candidates.
  3. Talking about players who are more popular than great - Ryan Goins is back in the majors!
  4. The way it’s written seems to be suggesting suicide. I didn’t realise he had taken so high a level of drugs.
  5. Popular is very different to greatest. It’s justifiable to have him in a list of most popular Jays players. To put it in context, Carter’s Jays career WAR is 7.4 (less than the likes of Zaun and Lawrie) and includes just as many negative seasons as positive. Most of the players in contention for a greatest list have put up multiple seasons of 5+ WAR.
  6. Wow this is great, so glad they’ve recreated the colour scheme and layout exactly. Roster Resource was always the first place I’d go to check options, bookmarks now updated!
  7. It’s hard to feel sorry for them when the Cardinals are currently in the second NL wildcard spot.
  8. TBF you don’t have to login to YouTube and it’s main use is for watching stuff, so it’s a much better fit.
  9. “Constructive” haha
  10. Looks like Woodman went back to university to get his qualifications:
  11. It’s OK everyone, they haven’t done an MRI so he must be fine! If he pitches soon then it’s going to be incredibly important that he pitches well. The last thing we need is teams being scared off.
  12. f***, f***, f***. Trade him before he has a MRI! /s
  13. Trade about to be announced to the Yankees and they didn’t want Giles to save the game.....
  14. IMO we’ll keep one of them, and Galvis is more likely to be attractive to a playoff team that needs infield depth. Sogard is having a pretty good run but is just as likely to revert to his career form (i.e. below replacement level) for the rest of the season. Again, would be pleasantly surprised if I’m wrong and we get something for him.
  15. I’m much more interested in the offers we get for Smoak. Hasn’t really been any rumours about him for a while, wonder if an extension is still an option.
  16. Richard injured? Borucki should be back next week then even if Stroman is still here.
  17. I don’t know about that. Why would a playoff team want a rental bench utility infielder? I guess if someone gets a few injuries, maybe. Still think Galvis is more likely to be traded despite Sogard having the best 2 months of his career. Obv if we get anything it’s a great bonus.
  18. I think Westbrook fits better than Paul with Harden and it’ll be fun to see the old OKC back court together. Shame they couldn’t have convinced (or had the cap space for) Durant to sign!
  19. TBF he’s been very risk averse so far so it’s a reasonable assumption.
  20. Seems fair. If it was deliberate (and it looked like an accident) he would have got a lot longer.
