  1. Off topic but are you changing your profile pic every day now, haha.
  2. Apparently overall NL pitchers have a .324 OPS. They do say the AL's left fielders are particularly bad this year, which as a Jays fan I can totally appreciate! If you drill down into the numbers the difference between the NL and AL is so small it'll probably correct itself by the end of the season anyway.
  3. According to this link: Who needs a DH the NL is outhitting the AL somehow, it's only based on OPS. They also note: "The simplest explanation may be the most accurate one in this case: the pitching is better in the American League. Through Monday, AL hitters have significantly outperformed their NL counterparts in interleague play — .770 OPS to .719. As a result of this, the AL has a 54-39 record when facing NL teams. That .581 win percentage is third-best mark since the leagues began playing one another in 1997."
  4. There's a big difference from giving harsher penalties the more felonies you commit, and giving life for the third. The first is giving the power to the court to give an appropriate sentence, the second is going to be unjustified in many cases. If the offences are bad enough, they'll get life if it's justified. Some people deserve the chance to change, if they don't they should and will be punished. Drug addict example would be if an addict kicks the habit and sorts their life out. Sorry don't want to derail this thread so I'll leave it there.
  5. What if your 3 felonies are when you're a teenager? What if you're a drug addict? What if you suffer from an undiagnosed mental issue? What if they are all non violent felonies that would normally carry a 12 month sentence? Offences should be penalised on a case by case basis in relation to the severity of the crime, and the history and circumstances of the criminal. Otherwise the person is condemned forever with zero chance to ever be a "constructive part of society".
  6. Haha that's optimistic but I guess we can dream!
  7. What a time for a mistake, Goins is normally so reliable
  8. Haha luckily it was foul, great at bat!
  9. Looked fair on first viewing, was close though.
  10. Loup has done pretty well when used exclusively as a Loogy.
  11. Yeah, 7 strikeouts, 4 walks, 4 hits - could have been a lot worse. He'll prob can picked up on waivers I guess, but if not it helps bolster the AAA rotation now that Latos has been released.
  12. His 4 hits for us have included 50% homeruns. He's a power hitter /s
  13. We've released Matt Latos, wonder if his agent thinks he can get him a MLB shot elsewhere.
  14. Strickland = 6 games, Harper = 4.
  15. Oh yeah both comments were justified, it kind of sums up the way this game has gone so far!
  16. At least the Reds starters are rubbish too.
  17. I agree, but House and Oberholtzer aren't on the 40 man, and whoever started today was likely to be bumped on Friday when Liriano is back.
  18. TBF there may not be much of a difference if Bolsinger is pulled early.
  19. Haha, read the >5 posts in this thread that explain why your anger is misplaced.
  20. Next time we need a spot start from Buffalo I'd like to see TJ House if for no other reason than TJ stands for Tiger Junior.
  21. Bolsinger is out of options but last time he got through waivers so was assigned to Buffalo. Maybe this time someone with pitching injuries claims him.
