    One positive in all the doom and gloom - DSJ's speed might help keep him in the 25 man. It'd be good for him to get some games under his belt for experience.

    So at the beginning of the season most people would have said the starters were our biggest strength. What happened?

    The Jays should not be giving up assets for rental signings when we haven't even reached .500 all season yet. But that doesn't mean we have to sell. A lot can happen in a month, hopefully we're 3-5 games over .500 by then. If we are still in contention for a wildcard then trade one of Liriano or Estrada and keep the other for the run in.

    Yeah exactly. Making the playoffs is half the battle, you then need everything to go your way to win it all.

    Pillar is currently in a slump. He shouldn't be leading off anymore, but he will improve. Probably not to where he was 6 weeks ago, but certainly better than his performances so far in June.

    Season over...... well obviously not but it sure feels like we're cursed this year.

    He could never get fully fit and ended up being released before the season. Shame I always liked him. Haven't seen him being picked up by anyone else, he may have decided to call it a day.

    Judging by the comments ITT after losing 2 games, watching this team lose 90-100 games for 2 years would be the opposite of fun.

    The first one was a low bounce and the second was a normal one. Maybe he had the first bounce in his mind for the second. IMO the second one was a worse error than the first.

    Yeah Travis being out really hurts us. It was just getting to the stage where he was likely going to swap lineup places with Pillar too.
