    Its hard to say if this is better for the players. On the one hand they don’t have to live in the Rogers Centre all summer: On the other hand they now have to train and play in a facility that’s not even close to major league quality. This might have been a better option had the renovations to Dunedin actually be complete. I’m hoping Rogers is prepared to make a massive investment in the broadcast quality for a Buffalo. Otherwise the team should just train in Buffalo and play home ganes as the road team in other teams stadiums. Honestly they should just do that. Not like it matters anymore.

    Have to think the limbo the team has been through in this process is going to have long term ramifications. This is truly a depressing outcome and might seriously hurt re-signing players and attracting players. The Virus is not going away anytime soon. Its extremely possible it could be years before we see Baseball back in Toronto. The bubble just can’t work for a Baseball unfortunately. Its not like Basketball where a practice facility is the same regulation size as a full court. You need enough fields to have the proper dimensions to play. The only place that really has that in abundance of atleast minor league quality is Florida and Arizona. And the Virus is a s*** show in both those places.

    Can you imagine him accepting being in the bubble in Toronto lol. It would be 6 days before someone caught him in a hot tub with a bunch of models in Downtown Toronto.

    I’m disappointed because I wanted it to work but this seemed inevitable. Just very surprised they did it now. All that tells me is that they had no confidence even in a short season him playing the position everyday. I don’t expect this team to be very competitive with the schedule but anything can happen. Insane things happen in small sample sizes.

    I still to this day don’t understand why they paid Randal Grichuk to the same thing Teoscar Hernandez could do for the league minimum. In terms of a pure talent I would rather have Stroman. Stroman is so insufferable and everything he says makes you want to punch him. But Grichuk seems to be the type to get his nose and everything. Huff is just a clown. I don’t know if he’s racist but I know hes dumb.

    I’m going to assume Travis Shaw won’t be a Blue Jay for much longer. He also keeps deleting his tweets lol. I don’t know if he did it because the team told him to or he didn’t like getting s*** on in the comments section.

    On the bright side were getting another high pick in next years draft in a basically lost season.

    I always enjoy when things don’t go the Orioles way. Never gets old. But great draft was nice to actually feel something Baseball again. Now lets get a deal done so we can have real Baseball again. And as many f***ing games as possible please.

    Since when do Blue Jays fans have the same low confidence as Raptors fans. You guys are giving yourself anxiety for no reason. They are signing Martin. You don’t let that caliber of prospect fall into your lap only to let him go. Boras might drag it out because hes a prick but its getting done. Blue Jays will do what it takes to secure that talent. Not a single doubt in my mind.

    I love athletic pitchers. Plenty of room for that body fo fill out as well. It sucks this draft is only 5 rounds but the haul we got makes me excited all things considered.

    Yea hes a draft eligible sophomore so he will go back for his Junior season and no harm done for him. Assuming we survive 2020.

    Did you just judge what kind of pitcher he is on his appearance lol. He throws 4-5 MPH harder than all those guys.

    Maybe not a college senior but they will have to save some money. I wouldn’t expect any high school players taken. Also sucks for the dudes that went back for a senior season that never happened lol.
