    The only reason I can think of Stroman being upset is because if he was going to get traded he probably expected to pitch in the playoffs. But hes going to another dog s*** team instead.

    Honestly Biggio should have stayed on his feet and kept running to third. 2 stolen bases on one play and would have had it easily.

    I think people are allowed to be pissed off about the decision to outright release Tulo. That decision made very little sense even if you thought he was done. They seemed to do it purely as a favour and maybe to get into the good graces of his agent. Personally felt they could have played hard ball with him. Especially after his comments suggesting if he wasn’’t the starting SS he would pack his bags and go home. Blue Jays would have been in position to suspend him without pay if that was the case. But to honest its all a sunk cost and everyone should move on. Doubtful he would have willingly to give up that money. Retiring is purely a paperwork move. Probably just would have stayed in Florida and only joined the team on rare occasions until his contract was up. You could argue he should have gave up money to be granted his release but that’s about it at this point. It honestly looked like he never wanted to be here to begin with.

    This is the s*** in the industry that needs to change. Thinking that a complete unproven commodity is more valuable than a guy who has been consistently good in the best division in Baseball. If Marcus Stroman was a free agent after this season I get it. But you shouldn’t expect to get a legit #2 starter without giving up one of your best prospects. And teams should stop allowing this to happen by settling for anything less. Buying teams need to pay a premium. One of these teams will give up a top prospect for Stroman and you don’t trade him until they do.

    Wonder how long they will let Stroman go. Obviously his pitch count is low but you want to make sure he stays healthy ahead of the deadline and playing in that humidity takes a toll on the body.
